As usual, a varied collection of bookings, and a month in which I've photographed a 6 week old baby and a 93 year old man.
Royal Fusiliers Ball, Coventry
A charity ball in Coventry in aid of Help for Heroes, a favourite charity of mine that looks after our injured and disabled servicemen and women. A very busy evening, despite the relatively low numbers - it seems that service folk are particularly fond of the odd photograph. Photos from this event are availble to purchase on the website for those that missed out on the night.
Dance Connection, Newport
This will be my second year photographing the dancers from Dance Connection. I 've photographed their dress rehearsals, annual show and taken formal shots of the girls and boys in their stage costumes. This year's show is at the Oakengates Theatre on Sunday 26th April, and is highly recommended.

The club accomodates dancers from 3 years old all the way up to 16, and it's marvellous to witness the sheer joy on these kids faces as Alison puts them through their paces.
Make Over Shoot
I'm often asked to provide make over shoots - this is where a Make Up artist, Hairdresser and photographer combine to give a lady (usually!) a 2 hour pampering session and some top class photos to remember it by. Maria was celebrating a birthday and husband Andy booked her into the studio for a shoot. All were very pleased with the results - a DVD with the best images set to music and 12 prints from the day of the customer's choice.
Kids 4 Us, Madeley
Another regular booking is Kids 4 Us in Madeley, a pre school nursery and Kids Club. I attend for 2 mornings per year and take photos of the children for sale to their parents. Photographing children can be a challenge, but the highs easily outweigh the lows...
See you next week, hopefully...
